Partnership for Evidence-Based Response to COVID-19
Partnership for Evidence-Based Response to COVID-19 (PERC) was a public-private partnership that supports evidence-based measures to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on African Union Member States. PERC collects social, economic, epidemiological, population movement, and security data from 20 African Union Member States to help determine the acceptability, impact and effectiveness of public health and social measures for COVID-19.

December 16, 2021: The fourth and final regional report summarizing key trends across surveyed African Union Member States and highlighting paths forward is now available.
November 23 2021: The following country briefs based on PERC’s fourth survey on public health and social measures as well as vaccination are now available in French: Le Cameroun, La Côte d’Ivoire, La RDC, La Guinée, Le Maroc, Le Sénégal et La Tunisie. In Portuguese: Moçambique.
November 9 2021: New country briefs based on PERC’s fourth survey on public health and social measures as well as vaccination in ten African Union Member States: Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan and Uganda.
October 28 2021: New country briefs based on PERC’s fourth survey on public health and social measures as well as vaccination in nine African Union Member States: Cameroon, DRC, Egypt, Morocco, Mozambique, South Africa, Tunisia, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

COVID-19
Tiered Public Health and Social Measure Framework for Africa
PERC has developed a tiered PHSM framework that uses indicators of disease spread to determine the appropriate level of PHSMs at a given time and in a given place.
PERC has developed a dashboard on Tableau to visualize multidisciplinary data and guide decision-makers on their country’s current performance of the COVID-19 response.
